3x3x3 Supercube

The 3x3x3 Supercube is a Rubik's cube where each piece has a particular orientation. This means that as we solve, we need to keep track of the direction the pieces are pointing. To buy this cube, click here.

The Basic Plot

  1. Solve white cross
  2. Solve remaining edges
  3. Solve corners

Step 1: Solve White Cross

This is the same as for the Rubik's cube, except that as we go, we need to correctly orient the centers. Place each white edge of the white cross in turn. Once the white cross is done

Step 2: Solve Remaining Edges

The remaining edges are solved in the same way.

Step 3: Solve Corners

This is the same as for the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. We no longer need to worry about the orientation of pieces, as the corners will take care of themselves. Carry out corner piece series until you have only 3 corners remaining. Then carry out the end game.

Here's a video showing the end game.

And that's it. Your 3x3x3 Supercube is now solved. I trust this site has been helpful. If you have any questions or want some clarifications, please use the comments to do so.  To buy this cube, click here.
