### 4x4x4 Supercube

The 4x4x4 Supercube is a 4x4x4 Rubik's Revenge where each piece has a particular orientation. We solve it in the same way as the Rubik's Revenge, but make sure that the orientation of the centers is correct.

The Basic Plot

1. Solve centers
2. Reduce edges
3. Solve reduced cube

Step 1: Solve Centers

Initially, we don't need to worry about the orientation of each face. We simply need to solve the center pieces so that all 4 of them are pointing in the same direction. First, we solve the white centers, then yellow, and then two more.

Finally, solve the last two faces of centers. This is slightly more difficult than on a Rubik's Revenge, because the orientation of the pieces matters. To be honest, though, it's only slightly more difficult.

When we reach the last two center faces, there are two possibilities. As we solve 3 center pieces on one face, we may find that there are 3 remaining center pieces to cycle home. Alternatively, we may find that the final face is completely "messed up". Either way, we need to use a corner piece series, turning the outer layer of the upper face, but the inner layers of the left and right faces, to complete the centers.

Step 2: Reduce Edges

This step follows the method used in the Rubik's Revenge.

When there are only two or three triplets left to make, again, proceed as for the Rubik's Revenge.

Step 3: Solve Reduced Cube

From here, we solve the reduced cube just as we would for a 4x4x4 cube.

And that's it. Your 4x4x4 Supercube is now solved. I trust this site has been helpful. If you have any questions or want some clarifications, please use the comments to do so.
